The Alchemist is my very first home grown, home extracted, Enfleurage Solid Perfume Balm.
To create this very special scent, I first melted down some Beeswax. To this I added Jojoba Oil, Vanilla Essential Oil and Oakmoss Absolute. Once poured into a glass tray (old casserole dish!) this is called the 'pomade'. I let it set and cool, before then spending the next month and a half, every day laying fresh blooms of Wild Harvested Amaryllis Belladonna lillies, home grown Roses, Gardenia, Plumeria (Frangipani) Carnations and Lemon Blossoms, until it was saturated in scent.
The result is a subtle, earthy and floral scent that will sit close on your skin. Natural perfumes made in this way do not last hours and hours, so reapplication will be necessary, but I promise you - they are worth it ❤️
This solid, enfleurage perfume is a limited edition. Due to the nature of it's making, this scent will never be recreated exactly as it is now. Read more about the ancient extraction method here.
