Amber and Lillies, and that’s it!
This pomade was made using Jojoba Oil, Beeswax and an Amber accord. I set the pomade into a casserole dish, both on the bottom and underneath the lid.
As they opened, I placed a single Oriental Lily in the casserole dish, facing upwards towards the lid. This is because the pollen stains, and if I were to cut the stamens, it oozed a sticky substance that I didn’t want on my pomade. I would then replace the casserole dish lid but slightly ajar, to allow airflow.
It took 2 summers to complete this Enfleurage, as my homegrown Oriental Lillies didn’t produce enough blooms in one season to saturate the pomade. I finished this extraction off with a few layers of Amaryllis Belladonna, also known as the Naked Lady.
This solid, enfleurage perfume is a limited edition. Due to the nature of it's making, this scent will never be recreated exactly as it is now. Read more about the ancient extraction method here.
